Decorative Block Designs (DBD) was started by a recent college graduate earning a degree in graphic design with the hopes of sharing art, craft, and humor with the world.
Starting at local farmers markets and craft fairs it soon became apparent by the growth of Decorative Block Designs, that we were on the right track with our designs and our approach to offer the highest quality products at reasonable and affordable prices.
Each block is individually cut, milled, painted, antiqued, and screen printed by hand. Because our blocks are handmade every block is different from the next giving our products the unique style we are well known for.
Our solid wood blocks are milled from wood that is obtained from well managed forests and printed with eco friendly ink.
Since the beginning, DBD has been a family owned and operated company run out of our hometown of Hingham Massachusetts. Not only do we wish to bring joy to our customers, but to anyone who sees our work.
